FFC Principles, Goals, & Issues
EMPOWER YOURSELF WITH BEING INFORMED
To fulfill the mission of educating and providing information to the public, we continue to schedule dynamic and interesting speakers who are nationally known and are recognized as a leader in their field.
Our monthly meetings are held every first Tuesday of each month at the Elmer Grange, 535 Daretown Rd, Elmer, New Jersey, 08318. (Note: As of October, 2015, our meetings have been relocated to the Woodstown Moose Lodge, 13 Bypass Rd, Woodstown, NJ 08098)
Each meeting is open to the public and we invite everyone to attend and learn more from these experts. As we all know, an informed public equals an informed voter and citizen. If you have a suggestion for a speaker, please tell one of the Board Members during the meeting or send us an email through our website.
Meetings start at 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, and the doors open at 6:00 PM.
RESTORING AMERICAN GREATNESS & FOUNDING PRINCIPLES
If we don't work at restoring then who will? Our government officials have not been found accountable enough for maintaining and preserving the leading Principles that our country was founded on. By being committed to educating, equipping, and mobilizing people of faith and like-minded individuals to be effective citizens. Together we will influence public policy and enact legislation that strengthens families, promotes time-honored values, protects the dignity of life and marriage, lowers the tax burden on small business and families, and requires government to tighten its belt and live within its means.
The continuing assault on Christians has been increasing in frequency and intensity during the past few years. To preserve the sanctity of Christianity is no less important than allowing the freedom for other religions to practice without fear in our country. One of our basic tenets is the belief that the Christian faith should be afforded the same respect and freedoms that the Muslim and Islam faith has been receiving.
FAITH AND FREEDOM GOALS
The goals of each Faith and Freedom Coalition chapter mirror the national organization. These goals are:
Mobilize and train people of faith to be effective citizens
Speak out in the public arena and in the media on behalf of common-sense values
Influence legislation and enact sound public policy at every level of government
Train citizens for effective civic action
Protest bigotry and discrimination against people of faith
One of the current problems facing parents, grandparents, children, and teachers is the push of Common Core Standards. We believe that Education reform is a priority, but it needs to put the children first.
Helping those who are in need and those left behind by an increasing divide in society is a huge priority. Programs that are designed to help put someone back on their feet are often times in need of reform. The outrageous problem facing our Veterans and their families is one that will not be ignored and will need empowered citizens to help continue the fight for better treatment and conditions for our Veterans.
